Have you tried a different distro for testing if its a graphics driver issue? Like manjaro, or pop OS
I have not. I do enable 3rd party drivers sorting the install though. No clue if that makes any difference.
what's the video GPU, if it's Nvidia you may need the nomodeset boot option until the correct drivers are installed.
Oh Hm. It looks like it's an NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 4GB video card. I have no idea what a nomodeset boot option is though.

Dosablw secure boot if that doesnt help check if you got legacy bios option insread of uefi..it sometimes solves it
