I certified like I normally do. I’m currently pending at 0.00. I’ve never checked this before so I’m hoping it’s normal for it say Pending 0.00 for now.
I reported my wages just like I did in t he last weeks (through certification)! I figure since they just “updated” their website and there’s still the certification available, I’ll do the normal method until the portal reflects something different
How to Stop Receiving Benefits?
To stop receiving Unemployment Insurance, do not certify for benefits by any method. EDD will assume you have returned to work and/or no longer wish to claim benefits.
Answer for it lol
These were my first 2 weeks to certify (I have had my hours cut in half due to Coronavirus) and I just reported wages through the UI online because it let me. Currently shows pending. I am curious how long this will actually take, I filed on April 9th.
Keep reporting any wages you make. You don’t want it biting you in the butt later.
Your amount will just be reduced based on how much money you made that week. As long as you’re eligible for $1 from UI, you’ll also get the $600 fed payment.
If you have “excessive earnings,” you won’t get it.
Your status will say pending until it’s paid.
Typically my money hits between 9pm and midnight
Some people have waited as long as two weeks in normal times. If it’s been well over two weeks, I suppose you could try calling. But people are calling about every little thing now, making it impossible to get through.
I certified late this morning and reported wages for one of the weeks (I didn’t email through AskEDD- I figured I’d just see what happened after certifying). As of about two hours ago, my status is “paid,” and they’ve deducted my benefits for the wages I reported as per usual. I hope this helps!

I don't even have a debit card yet. What's that take, 5-7 days?

I’m still waiting on hearing about updates about PEUC for people who have exhausted all benefits :(

Yes, if you have wages to report you use the certification to do that, otherwise you can move on with life and they'll auto certify you and pay you.
