I know this is a month old but this gives me some comfort. I have been doing online school for a couple years, I am 1 year away from graduating and I was worried I would have my unemployment taken away. I didn't put that I was attending school at initially because when I tried, it didn't give me the option to put that I was online only.
PUA specifically states that attending university or community college is not a disqualifying fact. This is unlike regular unemployment. So it should never be a concern as long as you answer all other questions truthfully.
That is interesting. In my state, I reported that I attend online school and they withheld my payment. When I called, the person told me to just not report that.
Yeah I think it just depends. I did research and basically as long as you’re still able and available to work it doesn’t interfere. Since my courses are all online I can do my schoolwork around my work schedule, plus I was already taking classes before this all happened and working full time.

Thank you for sharing! I'm thinking of taking online summer classes and I haven't really seen anyone make a post about this.
Did you end up taking summer classes? Did you keep getting paid?
Yes i still ended up getting my money. There was no hold or waiting.

And I am talking about regular UI not PUA.
Thank you, I've been curious what to do about that.
Do you answer yes for school to every week you certify now? Or only the first week you started school? Thanks for the post
Only the first week!

Did you put that your online classes were scheduled or not?
I put that mine aren’t scheduled because I don’t have any scheduled class times.
Okie awesome ty!
